Some of the games are just good in every aspect, they truly are the hidden gems. Death's door is metroidvania where you play as a crow who is agent of Death, traveling across different dimensions and collecting souls. Mostly by killing creatures and challenging bosses with a sword. Normally I prefer not to have to restart the same boss battle dozens of times, learning from each defeat and trying to be better. But in this case it's so pleasantly implemented that I managed to finish the game eventually and quite enjoyed it.
