Hitman: Codename 47 (2000)

Reviewing it by how I liked it back in the early 2000s. It has grown old but it is still playable. Graphics are as good as you can imagine a game released in 2000 can have. Controls are pretty fine when you map them for your liking. I only now realized how strong tactic it is to lean from behind a corner in the game. I only played the first five missions this time and the story is a bit superficial but all in all the missions are pretty well designed. I think it was pretty much the first 3D game providing stealth gameplay and rewarding for not shooting the place up. I was able to do the first missions without alerting enemies. In that sense, it is a trailblazer for Splinter Cell and the like.See more reviews for Hitman: Codename 47

Hitman: Codename 47

Bought the original Hitman from the Steam summer sales (I also have the CD pictured below but no disc drive on my PC) but ended up returning it after playing for 1.5 hours 😄 I played it back in ~2003 and loved it then, but it wasn't really worth playing anymore as I still remember all the missions and it has gotten a tad old. 🙂 Also bought most of the newer Hitman franchise so I guess I'll try those out instead.
