The Goblin event in Diablo 4 seems to be a bit of a letdown for the time being. 😞 First of all, the goblins are pretty scarce. I found maybe 6 after playing two Nightmare dungeons and 2 hours of Helltide events. Also, they dropped too low level items, even for the maxed players. This was apparently a bug that they've since fixed. 🐛 (see Adam Fletcher's tweet below) They drop either a rare or a legendary loot bag in addition to the normal few rares / legendaries. The bag contains similar loot than the goblin itself with some additional materials. I've mostly seen goblin portals that have closed the second I've entered the area they were in. No goblin icons on minimap, but just the closing portals. This has been going on since the start of the season 4, but maybe more often now? Another bug perhaps? 🐛 I was expecting loads of goblins running around everywhere and goblin hordes, but they seem not to exist. Maybe they are more rare or maybe they will appear later on in the event? 🤔 My friend found a Corrupted Greed Shrine, as the Diablo dev team teased about them providing a surprise, and apparently they spawned loads and loads of goblins, but I still not have personally found one. It seems to be pretty rare to get Greater Collections from the Tree of Whispers in Diablo 4. Now in Season 4: Loot Reborn I've gotten the 40% increase for the chance to receive one as a Season's Blessing by using the 4 x Smoldering Ashes. I haven't seen that noticeable increase in the number of Greater Collections though! 🤔 Maybe 3 two out of 30 Whisper rewards have been Greater. Maybe I'm just unlucky? Well yesterday, during the 1 year anniversary Goblin event, I received all three out of three! That was a first.
