Valve just dropped a game-changer on May 23rd, 2024! You can now rent CS2 skins for 7 days directly in the game. Here’s what you need to know:
👾 How to Rent CS2 Skins:
- Grab a Kilowatt case (the only rentable one for now) and a case key.
- Open CS2, head to your inventory, select the case, and hit ‘unlock container.’
- Choose the "Open to Rent" option. Confirm it and you're all set!
🚪 What Happens:
- Your case and key get used up.
- You’ll have all the skins from the case (except the knife) for 7 days.
- After 7 days, skins vanish. Want them back? Time to buy a new case and key!
📦 Which Skins Can You Rent?:
- Right now, only skins from the Kilowatt case: such as AK Inheritance and AWP Chrome Cannon.
- No knives or gloves, though!
🛠️ Future of Skin Rentals? Will Valve add more cases or collections to the rental pool?
