Blizzard just posted this regarding WoW Classic: Season of Discovery ๐ง โGreetings, As mentioned in previous communications, the team has been discussing the topic of Twice-Weekly lockouts coming in Phase 4 of Season of Discovery and weโve decided not to move forward with this lockout interval for Molten Core. Molten Core will utilize the standard 7-day lockout period, based on your feedback. We will be keeping the Twice-Weekly lockout in place for Lord Kazzak, Azuregos, and Onyxia, however. We feel that those quicker, single-boss raid encounters feel appropriate for this interval, especially considering that Onyxia herself operated on a 5-day lockout timer throughout Original WoW. As always, we appreciate your feedback on this topic and will continue to evaluate things and listen as we move through the content phases and make additional adjustments as necessary. The team is really looking forward to having you join us in Phase 4 in just a few short weeks! Thank you! -The WoW Classic Dev Teamโ Interesting.. so MC will be normal once a week reset but Onyxia and world bosses will be available only once a fortnight! Seems fair enough. ๐ #worldofwarcraft #wow #wowclassic #seasonofdiscovery #raids #moltencore #onyxia #resets

The first World of Warcraft Cataclysm Classic Phase 1 DPS Rankings are here from Tier 11. It appears that in overall raid damage, fire mages and unholy death knights are the best damage dealers at the 95th percentile statistics. They are pretty equal, but fire mages being a tad better. Elemental shamans are at the third place, but there's already a bigger gap and after that it just gets bigger. I also looked at the charts for boss-only damage and unholy DK's were slightly better than fire mages, and then it was a big gap for the 3rd and 4th place for assassination and subtlety rogues. It's no wonder rogues were nowhere to be seen in overall damage as they are most efficient in single-target DPS. It's surprising that arcane mages are that bad after being really good in WotLK. They are at 3rd last place in both charts! #WorldOfWarcraft #WoW #Cataclysm #WoWClassic #WorldOfWarcraftClassic #Raids #DPS #Rankings #FireMage #UnholyDK
Some are saying Season of Discovery phase 3 has been the best phase so far, does anyone agree? I kinda of lost my WoW drive in phase 2 and haven't really played since. I think phase 3 released on April 4th so it's soon been a week and I haven't felt an urge to play yet but maybe I'll give it a try at some point. Apparently the new 20 man raid Sunken Temple has been fun, according to some of my friends.
Just me and my friend waiting for the Ashenvale PvP event to start ๐ Btw it's still a good way to farm WSG reputation even in phase 2 of SoD. Downside is you can only do it until revered, but it's really a no brainer tactic for that if you are looking for that sweet Silverwing Sentinel rep. The event starts every 3 hours and you will get over 1k rep on average in 5-10 minutes.
I decided to craft the new sod phase 2 crafting epic again like I did in phase 2. This time it's a helmet and the druid healer or dps version looks like this, it's by far the best helm in WoW right now. Funnily enough, I actually managed to make some money with the crafting materials exploiting both leatherworking and alchemy. I did it by buying the green salvages from AH that drop from Gnomeregan. Those were like 2g each. Then I openned them up within the raid using the quest machine that can be unlocked by finishing the chain. Anyways, once you turn in the Grime-Encrusted Salvages you will get some white items (A Pile of Random Parts) that can be salvaged. Those enough will be worth more than the 30 silvers that using the machine costs. Then on top of that it will drop 1-5 Irradiated Leather Scraps and Crate of Tainted Gniodine Solutions. Those are the ones that I turned into the materials that are then used to create the epic helm. On average I got 0.7 of each per salvage. And one week ago they sold for: Insulating Gniodine: 2g Faintly Glowing Leather: 5g So I made roughly 0.7*(2+5)-2g = 2.9g profit for each salvage I bought. And I had time to buy about 40 before the market corrected itself. It's still profitable to do this last time I checked but the margins are now a lot worse. I love making money in World of Warcraft like this :D
Just me, a forest, and some fish ๐
Chilling and waiting for a quest mob respawn (for Morbent Fel) with a fellow traveller. I feel like experiences like these are only possible in MMOs. I don't like talking to strangers in the real world but in WoW I'm the total opposite, always talking to people. Thanks for the fun times Polimetrik! ๐
