Exciting news for #WoW fans! The upcoming expansion, The War Within, brings a super handy map filter that hides quests you've already completed on another character. 🙌 Say goodbye to map clutter! 🗺️ This is part of the new Warbands features – think "account-wide everything": shared reputations, currencies, and even a special bank! 🏦 And yes, you can still toggle quest visibility if you want to revisit those old quests. Right now, it's just for Dragonflight and The War Within quests, but who knows? Maybe we'll see it for older expansions in the future! 🌟 This update will make exploring places like Valdrakken so much smoother. Apparently so-called Skyriding is also coming! Get ready to use nearly all your flying mounts with the dynamic Dragonriding system. 🐉✈️ Pre-Patch is just a few months away! Who is going to give it a shot? #WorldofWarcraft #GamingNews #MMORPG
The War Within has surpassed my expectations by a lot! It finally made WoW feel like WoW once again. I guess I'm mostly impressed about the story and focus in the old and beloved characters, but all the new zones and quests are nice too. Good job Blizzard!
More interesting news for World of Warcraft players! 🧙♂️ The upcoming expansion, The War Within, will introduce dedicated portals next to the Alliance and Horde embassies, granting all players access to the starting zones for Allied Races. Originally introduced in the Legion expansion and expanded in Battle for Azeroth, Allied Races brought a unique twist by requiring players to unlock them before creating characters. 🔓 With The War Within, which includes the new Earthen Dwarves, each faction now boasts six Allied Races. Traditionally, starter zones for these races were off-limits to regular characters, but with this update, everyone can explore these exclusive areas. This change, discovered by Wowhead, means zones like Telogrus Rift and Shadowforge City are now open to all via convenient portals. 🤔 Interestingly, the Alliance might benefit more from this update due to the larger size of Shadowforge City whereas the Mag'har Orcs and Vulpera lack dedicated starter zones. I'm curious to see if this has any effect. 🌎 This quality-of-life improvement aligns with Dragonflight's philosophy of creating evergreen features and being respectful of players' time. 🌲 The launch of The War Within is set for August 26, 2024, and fans are already eagerly anticipating these updates. Me being one of them. What are you most excited about in The War Within? 🙂 #WoW #WorldOfWarcraft #TheWarWithin #AlliedRaces #gamingnews (image credit Blizzard)
🎮 Exciting news for #WorldOfWarcraft fans! The upcoming "The War Within" expansion is set to introduce a brand-new "Story Mode" for solo players. Senior devs at Blizzard hint that this mode might expand to older raids in the future! World of Warcraft, the iconic MMORPG that's been leading the way for 20 years, is finally offering a way for solo players to tackle the last bosses of raids without the need for large, cooperative play. This new Story Mode will provide players who prefer a less intense experience the chance to dive deep into the game's captivating narratives without the usual raid pressure. Associate Game Director Morgan Day recently explained about the team's thoughts on extending Story Mode to older WoW raids, giving hope to players eager to relive classic stories in a solo-friendly format. While this expansion is still a future consideration, the priority remains on perfecting Story Mode for The War Within's release on August 26. This is a golden opportunity for newcomers and solo adventurers alike to experience epic moments that define World of Warcraft. Plus, with the game available on Xbox through cloud gaming, it’s accessible to even more players. Stay tuned, heroes— Azeroth’s story is far from over! 🚀 #WoW #TheWarWithin #MMORPG #GamingNews
Hey WoW players! 🌍⚔️ Exciting news for all you collectors out there! 🎁 You can now get your hands on the legendary Theramore Tabard and Mini Mana Bomb from the Mists of Pandaria days. But, there's a catch! If you're aiming to score these super rare items, you need to finish the Theramore’s Fall Scenario at exactly level 35. It’s apparently a weird little bug, and it's probably going to be fixed soon, so now's your chance! 🚀 Here’s how: 1. Hit level 35 before starting the Scenario. 2. Complete the Theramore’s Fall so Alliance players can get that Tabard from Jaina Proudmoore and Horde players can get the Mini Mana Bomb from Thalen Songweaver. 🛑 Pro tip: unequip Cloak of Infinite Potentia to prevent overshooting level 35 mid-Scenario. 🎯 Big shoutout to /u/Doomhammer24 in /r/wow in Reddit for discovering this gem! This bug likely stems from the OG days when these items were only obtainable at level 85 during the pre-patch – post-level squish, that’s our magical level 35. 🧙♂️✨ So, gather your party and rush to Theramore before Blizzard fixes this. Time to get those nostalgic collectibles and show them off! Good luck, champions! 🍀 #WoW #WoWCollectibles #GamingLife #ThrowbackThursday #MistsOfPandaria 🐉
So I have to say I'm pretty impressed on how well Chris Metzen (Creative Director of the Warcraft universe) was able to sell Blizzard's future plans for the franchise in BlizzCon 2023. I'm hyped for sure :D I was especially surprised that they decided to announce THREE future expansions that they call the "Worldsoul Saga". They didn't a whole lot on how they are actually going to look like, but I was able to gather the following: First Expansion WoW: The War Within Descending into Azeroth, new subterranean kingdoms, ancient cultures like the Earthen/Nerubians. As forces close into precious world soul, the players, will be called to do what we always do - Destroy the enemy! 😎 Second Expansion WoW: Midnight Returning to the Old World. Fabled lands of Quel'thalas. There, the forces of the Void have invaded Azeroth intent on snuffing out the light of the Sunwell and plunging the world into darkness and fear. The players will help reunify the scattered elven tribes and make stand with the forces of the Light and banish Shadow forever. Things may not go to plan and spiral wildly out of control leading us to... Third Expansion WoW: The Last Titan Returning to Northrend! There, at Ulduar, we will bare witness to the return of the Titans to Azeroth. There, we will uncover a vast conspiracy. One that stretches throughout the history of the world. One that will challenge everything we think we know about the titans, their intentions, and true nature of Azeroth itself. --- They also basically made a whole bunch of stuff account wide which always bothered me a lot. For example, reputations, majority of achievements and transmogs will be account wide going forward. I love it, and I think I'll have to give the new expansion a try when it releases in late 2024! Let's goooo!
Contemplating whether or not I should install WoW again 🤔 Those Dragons sure are looking pretty fun 🐉
I'm the Loremaster!
"3000 hours, 10 kd and he's so shit man" Nobody's ever described me better 🥲
🚨🎮 Steam Deck owners, we've got some bad news... 🎮🚨 GTA Online is no longer compatible with the Steam Deck, thanks to Rockstar’s recent addition of BattlEye anti-cheat software. 🛑 While you can still dive into the world of GTA V’s Story Mode, GTA Online is now off the table for Deck players. 😕 Here’s the twist: BattlEye does work on Steam Deck… if developers opt in. All Rockstar would need to do is reach out to enable it, but for some reason, they haven’t taken that step. 🤔 It’s especially puzzling considering GTA Online continues to rake in millions for Rockstar, and the Steam Deck remains a fan-favorite for playing the game. The result? Steam reviews are starting to reflect player frustration, with opinions split nearly 50/50. Negative feedback is creeping in as people voice their disappointment over the decision. So, what do you think — is Rockstar making a huge mistake by keeping the Steam Deck in the dark? 💬 #GTAOnline #GTAV #GTA5 #SteamDeck #Rockstar #RockstarGaming #BattlEye
