I found this Legendary Longbow from a "loot box" in Dark and Darker, and by loot box I of course mean the Reward Token -feature which you can find from the main menu under -> Class -> Training. I had 4 characters and each of them had 20 free tokens, or rolls. Each roll gives you 3 items to pick from, but all items are always the same rarity. Legendaries are of course very rare but by doing roughly 80 rolls I got 2 legendaries in total. This bow sold for 1900 gold. Not too bad! #darkanddarker #lootbox

So, I played a few games of D&D with my boy @y3sse today, and it was quite fun! However, the last game when we had all our best gear on took a tragic turn when some gigachad Ranger walked into us with an Epic longbow and multishot. He literally oneshot Y3sse even though he was wearing pretty solid blue gear and playing Cleric. Just load up the multishot, walk up to your enemy, jump and suddenly your enemy is dead with 5 arrows in his head 😅 If you want to try that out, it could be that the best Ranger build in Dark and Darker is: - Weapons: Longbow & Spear - Skills: Multishot and Quick Fire - Perks: Spear Proficiency, Ranged Weapons Mastery, Quick Reload & Sharpshooter Then just take a good amount of damage + agility (for movement speed) as the main stats in your gear.

Dark and Darker seems to be doing fairly well now that it's back on Steam. It's currently the 24th most played game with daily peak of over 51k players! Quite an achievement, and of course some players are still playing through the dedicated "Blacksmith"-client.

Dark and Darker started their 5th playtest this weekend. This time players need to download the client via torrent because the developer Ironmace is tied in a legal battle with Nexon in Korea. So far it looks like that did not slow down the players since tens of thousands have been enjoying dark and darker again! 😂 The game really is a great one.

Just hit the target dummy for 204 (headshot) with my crossbow in Dark and Darker. I think this is the best build and best weapon for Ranger. Pro tip for all Ranger players in Dark and Darker who want maximum damage, all of the following will increase your physical power bonus by 1%-point. - Physical Power - Physical Damage Bonus % - Strength (also give you 1 hp) - Additional Physical Damage Then of course All Attributes = 1 strength + 1 agility + 1 will + 1 knowledge + 1 resourcefulness Additionally, you should prioritize: - Weapon Damage - True Physical Damage - Armor Penetration Also it's good to note that your secondary weapons don't affect your main weapon stats at all, so even if you have the best gear in the game you don't have to carry a second weapon necessarily. TL;DR Rangers for the win, definitely the best class in Dark and Darker. Happy hunting 🏹

I was wrong. This game is actually amazing, it just takes a while to get into but once it does - it is super addictive and fun. I don't think my mind has changed so drastically about a game before but this time it did. I originally rated this 6/10 but I have now adjusted my rating to 9/10. I'm amazed.
