Star Citizen has raised over $700M in funding over the years. The Kickstarter started in 2012, and I actually still vaguely remember the hype of this transformative new Sci-fi gaming experience. I don't think anybody could have predicted how long making the game will take (and how much money it will raise), and I guess we actually still don't know since the game is not finished and the crowd funding is still ongoing. What's going on with Star Citizen? It's been 12 years since the Kickstarter began and it still hasn't been released. I occasionally see some streamers like Summit1G playing the latest version and while it looks pretty good overall, it seems to still be suffering from lots of bugs 🐛 I'm still not convinced it will ever launch as a full product, but I guess we will see!
