Diablo IV

Have you noticed how Diablo 4 has some of the most useless affixes? /u/bean_barrage posted this in /r/diablo4 subreddit and I found it funny. Of course, it makes sense to have these filler stats so that it makes it more difficult and time-consuming to farm your best-in-slot items. Therefore making you play more and longer before you'll quit playing. It's still pretty funny how demotivating it is to see an item that would otherwise be good, but to have unreplaceable Life per Second stat. It's plain useless. For example, 200 Life per Second fills a 1,000 health bar in five seconds. But at 100,000 max health? It takes eight minutes! ⏳ It's been a hot topic for a while now. Also in the PTR. Will be interesting to see if and how Blizzard responds. 🙂 #Diablo4 #GameChange #PlayerFeedback #GamingCommunity #BuffLifePerSecond

Diablo IV

Hey everyone! 👾 Just read an interesting article about Diablo 4’s Season 4 endgame grind, and I've got some thoughts after playing "through" it with two characters. A lot of players are finding the Gold grind exhausting. Gold has become super essential, especially for those new crafting mechanics that come with a hefty price tag. Blizzard has tried to balance things with patches, but the grind still feels off. Right now, the best ways to grind Gold are through Helltides, Whispers of the Dead, and item trading. However, many, including myself, feel these methods aren’t very enjoyable in the long run (I am not fed up with them yet but can share the view 🙂). One Reddit user suggested an interesting idea: why not introduce a new dungeon type where you can earn chests containing millions of gold coins? It could be more difficult and take more time than an average dungeon but the reward would be well worth it. That would be cool! Others think Whispers of the Dead activities could use a makeover too. Imagine Uber Whispers with new challenges, bonus rewards, and tons of Gold! Integrating these activities with Helltides more often could also spice things up. Not a bad idea. Whispers do motivate me quite a bit at the moment because of the gold. This would undoubtedly boost it. Season 4 has definitely brought some exciting changes. With even more updates on the horizon, including the Vessel of Hatred expansion in late 2024, I'm hopeful we'll see some nice improvements. 😎 What are your thoughts on the Gold grind? Any suggestions? Let’s discuss! 🗣️💬 #Diablo4 #GamingCommunity #EndgameGrind #BlizzardEntertainment Article in question: https://www.dexerto.com/diablo/diablo-4-gold-grind-endgame-players-tired-2756965/

Gray Zone Warfare

🚀🎮 Attention Gray Zone Gamers! 🎮🚀 Developers always do their dedicated best to create an epic gaming experience, but sometimes hiccups happen. Today, Marek Rabas, CEO & Co-Founder of MADFINGER Games and Creative Director of #GrayZoneWarfare, posted this in his X / Twitter. 💬 "Hi Guys, Please accept our apologies. We released a hotfix that introduced new issues to the game. We're going to roll back and will issue a new hotfix soon. We messed up mostly because we didn't trust our community when they reported performance issues. We couldn't reproduce it on our end, and after checking every commit, we were sure none of the fixes could affect client performance. This was a big mistake; it turned out to be a wrong merge, and unwanted changes were propagated to the hotfix branch. We have multiple branches, not only for the game but also for Unreal Engine, etc. So, lesson learned the hard way. We will always trust our community from now on and improve our pipelines to limit these problems. Please excuse us; we will do better next time." TL;DR: They reverted the previous patch because of bugs. 🐛 Stay tuned for the upcoming hotfix and, as always, Happy Gaming! 🎮👾❤️ #MADFINGERGames #GameDev #CommunityFirst #GamingCommunity #GrayZoneWarfare #MarekRabas #GrayZone
