Far Cry 6 DLC puts you into the shoes of the biggest villains from the series
The Far Cry 6 DLC included in its Season Pass won't involve the game's new villain, played by Giancarlo Esposito, but will instead star three villains from Far Crys past: Vaas Montenegro (Far Cry 3), Pagan Min (Far Cry 4), and Joseph Seed (Far Cry 5). The original actors have returned to play them, except this time their voices will be your voice. We'll "delve into these iconic villain's twisted minds, uncover their backstories, battle their inner demons, and reunite with familiar faces," says Ubisoft. Without really explaining it, the company calls this Far Cry 6 add-on a "new Far Cry gameplay experience in which you will have to die… and retry." Sounds like they might be short episodes that are meant to be replayed several times? The Far Cry 6 Season Pass will also include Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, possibly to help promote the Netflix show based on the well-liked '80s themed DLC.The Season Pass will be available in the Far Cry 6 Gold, Ultimate and Collector's Editions—so, not the Standard Edition. Presumably, the DLC will be available to purchase separately, too. The official site breaks down what's in all of them.As for Far Cry 6 itself, Esposito said the other day that his character isn't truly a villain, but of course he was being facetious: Far Cry games always include a Bond-style villain with a cult following.

Enjoying some dominoes and wondering why is Vaas trying to trigger my PTSD in the background? 🤔
Why is Danny Trejo cooking Tacos in my videogame? 😂
Far Crys just keep getting better and better. I'm about 30% done in FC6 so far and I think this might be the best FC there is, even better than FC3 maybe? Love it ❤️
Doing some casual cockfighting while taking a break from liberating the world from an evil dictator 🐔
Far Cry looks amazing, as always. It's a shame gameplay hasn't changed a bit since Far Cry 5. Or Far Cry 4 😉
Far Cry 6 is out... Ubisoft+, here I come!
CD Projekt has confirmed that a new Witcher game is in development, "kicking off a new saga for the franchise."The new game will be built using Unreal Engine 5 rather than CD Projekt's REDengine, which the studio said will begin "a multi-year strategic partnership with Epic Games.""It covers not only licensing, but technical development of Unreal Engine 5, as well as potential future versions of Unreal Engine, where relevant," CD Projekt said. "We'll closely collaborate with Epic Games’ developers with the primary goal being to help tailor the engine for open-world experiences."CD Projekt said that the change to the new engine was made to help streamline the development process.  "From the outset, we did not consider a typical licensing arrangement; both we and Epic see this as a long-term, fulfilling tech partnership," CD Projekt Red CTO Paweł Zawodny said. "It is vital for CD Projekt Red to have the technical direction of our next game decided from the earliest possible phase as in the past, we spent a lot of resources and energy to evolve and adapt REDengine with every subsequent game release. "This cooperation is so exciting, because it will elevate development predictability and efficiency, while simultaneously granting us access to cutting-edge game development tools. I can’t wait for the great games we’re going to create using Unreal Engine 5!"  The studio also confirmed that despite the shift to a new engine, the new Witcher game is not planned as an Epic Games Store exclusive.
