Halo Infinite (2020)

**Spoiler Free** Think for a minute about the sensations you feel when you open your favorite snack; your senses greeted by familiarity and comfort. It's at this point that your brain begins firing its dopamine receptors. And damn, it feels good. But what's this? Your beloved snack has a new flavor?! It is a new flavor! And you love it. And it might just be your new favorite. The same familiar shape but with a new twist. Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili > Cool Ranch btw. Replace the aforementioned food with a video game and you have, in short, my review of the Halo Infinite campaign. Long gone are the days of level selects and traditional loading screens. Halo is back and better than ever with new toys to traverse a joy-to-explore open world, improvements and twists to old weapons to destroy mostly familiar yet evolved enemies, and more freedom than ever to tackle the many challenges this new entry presents. The story itself is pretty standard, with great pacing and a more than passable plot that string together very nicely. Missions themselves are not replayable *yet* but should be soon according to 343 Studios, the game's devs. The open world provides tons of goodies to find and several different side quests to complete in the form of capturing a base, freeing marines, and killing high value targets of interest. Whether you do the side quests as you move through each part of the map or do them after beating the campaign is up to you. Jump on GamePass for a $1 for the first month and try it out. I have a meeting in 10 minutes and I have to hurry but you get the gist. Lol.See more reviews for Halo Infinite

Beat the Halo Infinite campaign last night. I know the story has been catching a lot of flack but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now, who wants to run the MCC campaigns on Legendary?!
