New Dragon Age is almost here and it looks pretty good, let's hope it'll look and performs the same as it shown in gameplay clip. I'm such a fan of a series, even though the strongest one is still the first one - Dragon Age: Origins. Too bad EA was forcing Bioware to waste years working on a failure of a MMO called Anthem. Since release of Dragon Age Inquisition the whole new generation of gamers were born. On the upside, good opportunity to replay the trilogy before Veilguard is released. Not much hope for modern Bioware that probably lost too many key developers who made the soul of the company after being forced to work on something they usually prefer not to work on. But would be nice to finish the story in any way, especially after a cliffhanger hidden in Inquisition's DLC.
Looks like Dragon Age: Dreadguard just got renamed into Dragon Age: The Veilguard I still remember playing Dragon Age: Origins years ago and even though I'm not the biggest fan of single player RPGs I thought the game was cool. I wish all the best for this franchise! https://blog.bioware.com/2024/06/06/theveilguard/
BioWare: "As we look toward the future, BioWare is focused on being a leader in developing immersive, emotionally charged, single-player games, with teams primarily in Austin and Edmonton. This means a renewed focus on our two key franchises: Dragon Age™ and Mass Effect™." Finally. Took them almost 10 years to straighten priorities.
"3000 hours, 10 kd and he's so shit man" Nobody's ever described me better 🥲
🚨🎮 Steam Deck owners, we've got some bad news... 🎮🚨 GTA Online is no longer compatible with the Steam Deck, thanks to Rockstar’s recent addition of BattlEye anti-cheat software. 🛑 While you can still dive into the world of GTA V’s Story Mode, GTA Online is now off the table for Deck players. 😕 Here’s the twist: BattlEye does work on Steam Deck… if developers opt in. All Rockstar would need to do is reach out to enable it, but for some reason, they haven’t taken that step. 🤔 It’s especially puzzling considering GTA Online continues to rake in millions for Rockstar, and the Steam Deck remains a fan-favorite for playing the game. The result? Steam reviews are starting to reflect player frustration, with opinions split nearly 50/50. Negative feedback is creeping in as people voice their disappointment over the decision. So, what do you think — is Rockstar making a huge mistake by keeping the Steam Deck in the dark? 💬 #GTAOnline #GTAV #GTA5 #SteamDeck #Rockstar #RockstarGaming #BattlEye

Here's my current Kappa progress in Escape from Tarkov's current wipe (v0.15.0.0). So all of these quests must be complete before getting the Collector quest from Fence that rewards you with the largest in-game secure container and the DEADSKUL armband. In addition to that, you have to collect all the streamer items shown in this list. I currently have 31/39 of those. Probably the most difficult ones I've already found.👍 I was able to achieve it last wipe but let's see if I have enough time and motivation to grind it! #EscapeFromTarkov #Kappa #Collector #KappaContainer #DEADSKUL #BSG #BattleStateGames #EFT #wipe #StreamerItems
Season 6 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 sounds like it’s shaping up to be a must-play for horror fans. With the return of The Haunting, the new season introduces two horror-themed maps – Drive Thru, featuring a killer clown-themed restaurant, and Mad Cow, a chilling slaughterhouse that feels straight out of a slasher film. 🤡🔪 Fans of characters like Art the Clown and Michael Meyers will definitely appreciate the spooky atmosphere these maps bring. Plus, 5 new Shipment variants are being added, giving players even more content to explore. While I might not be diving in myself, I can see how this season would be a blast for anyone who loves the mix of horror and gaming. 🎮👻 #CallofDuty #MW3 #Season6 #TheHaunting #Warzone #HalloweenGaming #SpookySeason #MichaelMeyers
There are hackers in Deadlock! 🤯 Even though the game is still in development, the cheaters have already surfaced and are ruining it for everyone else. That's not a surprise really. Luckily, according to Deadlock developers AKA Valve, there is an anticheeat on the way. 👍 Let's just hope it will be a good one as it is not easy to fight the hackers nowadays 😅
The popular game engine, Unity, has decided to give up their "runtime fees" that they introduced pretty much a year ago. 🚀 This scheme of theirs has been effectively ruining their reputation, making developers go crazy and also made their CEO resign. 🫠 So what was this model with the runtime fees? It meant charging the developers a fee every time the game was installed after the game had made over a minimum revenue limit and was past a certain install count. It made many game developers to reconsider their use of Unity as a game engine. 💸 They apologized after the initial news and made some softening blows to the pricing model which made it not that harsh. Still the damage was done; the CEO had to go and they also laid off 1800 people, which apparently was not related to this business strategy change.. 🤔 They've admitted it was a bad idea, but only after "deep consultation with their community, customers and partners" according to their new CEO Matt Bromberg (https://unity.com/blog/unity-is-canceling-the-runtime-fee). They are switching back to traditional pricing model that changes only on an annual basis. So it sounds like it's going to a better direction again, but I'm curious to see how they will manage to re-gain trust and more users in the future.❓ #unity #runtimefees #developers #gamedev #news
